How paid listings work (Offers & Requests)

Doingid works through two simple types of paid listings.
Each listing is one clear position on our board — visible to people and businesses across Sri Lanka.

Service Offer – “I can do this”

A Service Offer is a listing where you present what you can do.
Typical examples:  house cleaning, cooking, babysitting, driving, repairs, construction,

electrical or plumbing work, tutoring, translation, design, consulting,

any other type of service you are ready to provide.

Each Offer listing usually includes:
– what you do (short clear description),
– location / area you cover,
– working hours or availability,
– languages you speak,
– expected price range or conditions,
– how people can contact you.

Service Request – “I need help with this”

A Service Request is a listing where you describe what you need help with.
Typical examples:
– “Looking for a reliable driver for school runs”,
– “Need a nanny 3 days per week”,
– “Searching for a cleaning lady twice a week”,
– “Need a technician to fix internet/Wi-Fi”,
– “Looking for a freelance designer or tutor”.

Each Request listing usually includes:
– what you need (task or role),
– location and preferred schedule,
– duration (one-time or regular help),
– budget range (if you wish to indicate it),
– how you prefer to be contacted.

Our prices

At Doingid, pricing is simple and transparent.

 Individuals: publishing one listing (Offer or Request) costs LKR 400

  Organizations / businesses: publishing one listing (Offer or Request) costs LKR 800

There are no time limits for how long your listing stays published.
It remains active until you decide to update, pause, or remove it.

Our goal is to support a fair balance between service providers and people who need help,
while keeping participation affordable and accessible.
